Reviews for Le Renard Cafe by Tomo
Review highlights
Based on 440 reviewsLe Renard Cafe by Tomo is widely praised for its charming Japanese-inspired ambiance, featuring manga, merchandise, and a cozy, dog-friendly atmosphere that appeals especially to younger crowds and manga enthusiasts. The cafe is known for its authentic Japanese beverages like bubble tea and light meals such as onigiri and omurice, which many find flavorful and satisfying. However, feedback on the food quality is mixed, with some customers noting inconsistencies, such as overly salty dishes or limited pastry availability later in the day. Despite this, the welcoming service and unique aesthetic create a memorable experience that often overshadows any culinary shortcomings, making it a favored spot for those seeking a cute and culturally immersive cafe experience in Paris.
Nice food and drinks, ambience, dog friendly. Recommend the experience.
Cute Japanese cafe with a cozy atmosphere. I had the Kagawa bubble tea and tuna onigiri for lunch, and both were authentic and delicious. The service was great; the staff made sure the tea I ordered has a strong flavor (I guessed some people don't like it?). I added sugar and boba to the tea, which made it even better. I recommend anyone who wants to try Japanese onigiri and sweets!
We stumbled upon thus cute little cafe by accident and decided to stop by. Their drinks are incredibly delicious and the omurice looked great, tho lots of pastry wasn't available but we were kind of late to arrive in the day.
Japanese food & drinks cafe; frequented by manga lovers; can see young people with Japanese style make up & outfits hanging out/working there; manga books around & kawaii (cute) vibe; have set meals & bubble tea too Battalion suggestion: work on quality of food eg make miso soup less salty
You come here for the vibe, plain and simple! The cafe is gorgeous with books and mangas and merch but the food itself is mediocre. Definitely not bad but not a destination I’d recommend for the food. That being said i did still enjoy my visit for the aesthetic alone.
Very cute cafe, staff was very friendly. Food was nice, especially the red and green shiso onigiri! the prices are okay, it’s kinda small so can get a little crowded but the atmosphere is still very cozy
Lovely little cafe! We spotted it before going to the Pantheon nearby but it was closed, luckily it opened up when we were done with the Pantheon. We had the lunch menu with Onigiri, Miso soup and Doroyaki. I loved the overall vibe with the Ghibli characters. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.
